Make Your Fitness Story A Success Story

Hi everyone, do any of you have some easy recipes for a very filling Breakfast smoothie ??

 Im just about to start doing more hrs at work and wont have time for a mid morning snack anymore. Im not actually dieting now, im maintaining!! 

 The problem is i live in the UK and many of the products you talk about are not available here. I need a recipe that is quick, filling and ingredients that are readily available . Thanks

MY breakfast smoothie is this:

1 cup water, milk, or any kind of nut milk
20-gram serving protein powder (your choice)
1/2 large or 1 small frozen banana
5-6 large strawberries
large handful blueberries
1 tablespoon flaxseed meal
big dollop of peanut butter (which I realize is hard to find outside of the U.S., so it can be omitted) or any nut butter
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1 serving granola

Blend 'til smooth. Pour half into glass. Sprinkle half the granola over. Pour remaining smoothie into glass. Top with remaining granola. Eat with spoon!

If you can't find a protein powder and need to add more protein, definitely use milk or even milk with a little yogurt as your base. If you have access to FRESH eggs, you can blend a raw egg or two into your smoothie, but I only recommend this with fresh-fresh eggs for safety reasons.

If you want to add a little more nutrition, you can blend a large handful of fresh spinach with your milk before adding the other ingredients. Sounds strange, but you don't even know it's there (aside from the slight greenish tinge) :)

I just do mixes of milk, yogurt, frozen fruit, flax seed and protein powder. I just mess around w/the amounts. Nothing too complex or I won't do it!

I use skim milk or unsweetened almond milk 1/2 cup, one scoop whey protein powder, one cup frozen strawberries, 1/4 cup frozen blueberries and a couple handfuls of fresh spinach (I know it sounds weird, but tastes good), add ice if not thick enough, the thicker the more satisfying.
