Make Your Fitness Story A Success Story

Post them here!

Mine are:

  1. Reach 145 lbs and evaluate if this is where I want to stay, or set new goal.
  2. Improve my 5k time.
  3. Do 5 pull-ups in a row!
  4. Rock a pair of size 6 jeans by summer.
  5. Consistently workout 5 or 6 times a week.

How about you??

My health goals:
1. Exercise consistently (5x/week)
2. Sleep through the night (or maybe that's not my goal so much as my baby's)
3. Get back to my old "low" of 160 lbs.
4. Drink water!! Quit pop!! This may take me all year.

Great goals. Stopping the soda is tough, I was so glad once I did though. I was a huge diet coke junkie, now they seriously taste like chemicals to me. Good luck!

I'm new here, but I'll jump in!

1. Have a baby! I'm due in 4 weeks.

2. Repair diastasis recti (abdominal separation) and get my core back IN SHAPE!

3. Learn proper portion control.

4. Lose 40 lbs (PLUS the 15 pounds gained this pregnancy, but hopefully that will happen with goal #1)

5. Walk 5-6 days a week.

6. Muscle-building/toning workout 3-4 days a week.

It's good to have those goals before that baby comes! I wish you the best on the birth of your new little one!

Awesome goals! Good luck with them. And with your new baby, awww, I might be getting baby fever hanging out here, lol.

Thanks Rikki and Kat! Yeah, I'm determined this time around to lose three babies' worth of weight! I have THE hardest time losing ANYTHING after I have a baby :( Just ordered "Lose The Belly Flab" yesterday, so I'm hoping to start that as soon as I have the OK to workout postpartum :)

Yes, Baby fever is VERY contagious! ...and not so easy to "recover" from ;) LOL!

I am right there with ya, I have three boys and working on getting all that weight off!

Baby weight is the only thing I can lose easily. I gained 22 lbs this last pregnancy and it all came off within a couple weeks. But now I am left with all the weight I gained from my eating habits and lack of exercise. I have plenty to lose!

It always seems to me like weight gained recently is easier to shed than weight I've had on for years...wonder if there's any truth to that?

Hi Ricki, So glad you're still at it!! Try to aim for four times a week this will keep you more motivated as you see the results. Everytime you place sweets into your mouth this will equal to probably another extra 20 minutes of cardio. Yes, that th…
