so, i finally got to start today. i got the book and 4 pack dvd about 2 week ago and got sick along with my kiddos. we still have a cold but no more fever. so last night i put the video in the dvd player and gave myself no excuse to not start today. i am doing the pear workout and it starts with a and b workout so i thought i would just add c on as well. nope. the first 2 (with warm and cool down) kicked my butt. i am embarrassed that it made me tired. but...excited as well cuz i feel i gave it my all. can't wait til the next workout this afternoon. i will take it one day at a time and hope to stay motivated. yesterday when i was getting ready to go out with my hubby, i was so depressed while getting ready and then was in a bad mood which he noticed and it almost ruined our time. i didn't tell him why cuz he hates when i complain about my body but it was that final wake up call i needed to motivate me for today. summer is right around the corner and i just want to be comfy in a short sleeve shirt at this point. i'll try for a swimsuit next year:) thanks ladies for all you write. i love reading what everyone is doing and be encouraged.
Welcome Misty I'm in the same place as you and very disgusted and frustrated. I'm an apple and had started a few weeks ago but after two weeks in I cut my hand and things were on hold but I just started back again yesterday. I love the workouts. They sure do kick butt. It would be fun to keep in touch while doing this. Good luck. 90 days till June 1st - we can do this. ((hugs))
thanks. i just did day 2. i was tired but it felt good. i have a sinus infection, (i've had a chronic one for 2 months), so i'm a little limited on bending over. i am also going to try to do my elliptical 2-3x/week. i sent you the book apple schedule on the other discussion. thanks for the support. this will be fun. when i was typing out your schedule, the reality hit me that we really are doing the same stuff and it was even more encouraging. well, i have to go cuz i have school to do with one and the other is patiently waiting to be nursed. talk soon!
Hi Ricki,
So glad you're still at it!! Try to aim for four times a week this will keep you more motivated as you see the results. Everytime you place sweets into your mouth this will equal to probably another extra 20 minutes of cardio. Yes, that th…
