About Me:
I'm American living overseas, and I stay busy parenting my two little ones at home. On the side, I blog about life hacks for home management, and I design photo cards.

I had about 15 pounds still to lose with my first child, and I'd say I have about 10 or so pounds to lose from my second. So I guess that means I have about 25 pounds I'd like to lose! Working out used to be a regular part of my life - before kids, that is. I miss that, and I want to get back in the habit. I just need a system that works with my chaotic life.

Day 2

Well, it's 7 a.m. here, and I managed to wake up before everyone else and work out. I feel great! I'm so glad I can go through the day knowing I've already worked out.

One thing I've noticed for me - when I wake up ravenous in the morning, I drink a glass of water and eat about 6-8 raw almonds. That usually subsides me and curbs that growling tummy until breakfast. Then I don't overeat nearly as much.

Breakfast for me will be raw blueberries, barley cereal, milk, and coffee. Yum!

"Before" Measurements & Photos - taken 1/19/09

bust: 40 in.
chest: 33 in.
waist: 37 in.
hips: 38 in.
thighs: 24.5 in.
calves: 14 in.
upper arms: 11.5 in.

To me, measurements really are the way to go. The scale can get so discouraging, and it's not all that accurate for me, either. In the morning I've nursed, gotten my preschooler ready for the day, and I've eaten breakfast - and then I remember to weigh in. Oh well.
