Grr....Sizing Charts!
I know this shouldn't irriate me this much, but I was jumping thru the Victoria's Secret website this morning looking at the sales on their "career clothing" when I hit the link to their sizing chart. IF I did end up buying those on sale Marisa style pants, just what size should I buy? I seem to be a pretty solid size 6 right now (which I'm loving thanks to Tracey!). According to the VS chart, per my waist I'm between a 8 and a10, but per my chest I'm in a 6...but if you look under my hips I should be a size 0....!! How can I possibly be all three? Apparently my body just isn't cut out for VS...or I really need to cinch in my waist and tape down my boobs! :)

OMG.. Sizing charts for women are horrible. If manufacturers would only use the same method applied to men's clothing (go by actual waist/hip size in inches and not these arbitrary numbers 2,4,6, etc) then I think we would have a much easier time finding clothes that fit.
I've bought clothes from VS before and I say just go with the size 6 pant. VS is weird because they manufacture their clothes to run bigger than other clothing stores -- at least they used too. So unless they've changed their clothes to run smaller, you'll probably do fine w/ your actual pant size. You could also always call them and ask why their charts are so screwy.
