Make Your Fitness Story A Success Story

I can't believe how fast the last 6 weeks have gone by!! I've lost a total of 17.5 lbs!! The biggest change was the first 2 weeks! After that it's been a little slower. These last 2 weeks I only lost 1/2 inch around my chest and the rest of my body stayed the same. I did also lost 2.5 lbs. It's a little frustrating not gettting the same results week after week, but I'm still gonna keep at it cuz I'm not at my goal quite yet. Another 10 pounds would be awesome.. but I think it's gonna be the hardest to lose. Believe me... I've thought about throwing in the towel a couple times. But I keep thinking about the big picture. Do I want to be healthier? Do I want to set a good example for my kids? Do I wanna look good in that darn bridesmaids dress? yes, yes, and YES!! I'm making a promise to myself to push a little harder. The only person that is gonna push myself is ME!

Keep at it ladies! You can do it!

Thanks for all the great comments. It's amazing that I can help inspire you all... that inspires me even more!! I won't let you down... :) I was telling Veronica that I've really taken this challenge as an oppurtunity to start doing all the things I've made excuses for in the past. One day at a time... we can do it!

Just to give you ladies an idea of how much I've been working out so you don't get discouraged thinking that I just did Tracey's dvd's once a week. lol! I've been doing her workout's 6 maybe 7 times a week. The last 2 weeks I've been switching between doing the entire Total Body dvd (5lb. weights) and the BootCamp Burn It. I also have been walking/running every morning with the kids in the jogger stroller. My husband and I would push to do over 2 miles... mostly speed walking, maybe a little jogging. Then if I found myself laying in front of the tv I'd grab the theraband and do some of the butt blaster workouts or essential core workout. Anything so I wasn't just being lazy. I just have to tell myself to DO IT! You don't know how many minutes go by and I stare at tv while the dvd menu for Tracey's dvd keeps going and going. I keep hearing that music play over and over... and I tell myself, "Just hit the play button already!" hahah! Seriously as I'm typing this I have her dvd in the player and it's going! Well... gotta do my workout... I got BOTH my kids down for their naps at the same time!! Gotta make use of my mommy-free time!

Way to go Erica! Your story is inspiring, thanks for posting it! For me, I started to lose pounds these last couple of weeks, it's taking longer for my body but I will keep going just like you say. I will push myself for more!!!
