Make Your Fitness Story A Success Story

OK, so we just ended week six of the program. Last week was a heck of a week with a few stress factors, one of them is that my car got broken into while parked in the garage of the apartment complex I live in. The window was smashed for nothing because I really had nothing valuable there. My only consolation is that the thieves took off with an empty diaper bag. Ha!
I had gotten on the scale on Friday and was celebrating that I had lost one more pound... since I've started this program I have lost 6 Lbs., of course after reading Erica's post this morning, I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed about not getting the "same" results (yes, I admit it, I was jealous but I'm really happy for her) But then I decided out of the blue that I was going to try on one of my favorite pair of pants that I had in my closet and guess what! It fits! So of course I did my Snoopy dance and rushed to get the tape measure and compare my results today from where I was 6 weeks ago... to my surprise, I have lost 20 inches overall since I've started! So I'm doing another Snoopy dance!!!!

And with the car getting broken into, it was more upsetting than anything, although I would have loved to see the thieves faces when they opened the bag and found a couple of clean disposable diapers! LOL!!

Hooray for you Veronica! Those inches are what count (and fitting into the skinny jeans, right?). I am so sorry to hear that your place was broken into! That must have been frightening!

Cool! Evenings (around 6:00 PM) work good for me... and I'm also available on weekends. I might be able to squeeze something in at noon as well. Let me know!

I would LOVE to work out with both of you girls... I need to push myself and kick it into high gear. :) I going on vacation in August and I want to be sexy, thin, and more confident when I see family and old friends.

I know :) I can't help but be jealous :) :) but that doesn't mean I'm not happy for you! I probably just need to push myself more! And like you, I've made up a ton of excuses. Thanks for the tips, I think that if I were more committed, I'd probably would have lost a lot more. I'm really excited with my results though!

I'd love to workout with you! Maybe we can get Kelly to come with us as well since she lives close by.

Hi Veronica! That is amazing!! You know everyones body is different.. I lost more pounds than inches. I would give anything to be able to lose that many inches! I think overall I lost about 6 maybe 8 (8 would be pushing it). But just to give you an idea about how much I worked out... I did Tracey's videos 6 maybe 7 x a week. The last couple weeks I traded off doing the entire Total Body dvd and the BootCamp BurnIt. Then I started to do more cardio the last couple weeks as well ...sometimes 5 or 6 x a week. So I was going a bit overboard because I have this deadline. I'm a bridesmaid in my best friends wedding! AHH!! As you keep practicing at the workouts you'll get stronger and stronger and more importantly better aware of engaging the right muscle groups. This is so bad of me but I should be teaching pilates myself... Tracey can agree with me! I took her certification class a while ago but I've used so many excuses already for not getting in shape and not teaching. I've really taken this challenge as an oppurtunity to REALLY start doing all the things I've made excuses for in the past.
So keep it up.. don't feel disappointed... you're doing an amazing job!!! Anything I can do to help motivate you more just let me know!! I'd love to go running with you or maybe do a workout together... maybe I can help make sure you're working all the right muscles! :) Please let me know!
