Hi Tracey! Just to let you know, I became a Team Mallett member three months ago or so, been following your diet and exercise program to a "t" and am now entering my third trimester feeling great! (Only have gained 16 lbs so far!!!) You're program is wonderful, and can't wait to do the post- partum section of your Super Fit Mama book.
Anyway, I have a question for you if you have time to respond. I am doing the core workouts three times a week along with the circuit training and flexibility. I've been checking a possible separation of my abdominals with your diastis recti self check, and they haven't separated yet(I don't think). My question is, if I keep up with the weight training, core training, flexibility and aerobic exercising, will my abdominals ever separate more than one finger or so? And if so, will I be able to do the diastis recti check WHILE I'm pregnant(like within the last month with my belly being huge? I hope I'm making sense.
I have learned SOOO much from your Super Fit Mama book about diet and exercise...it's a great resource to have, and having this blog is keeping me motivated! Thanks again, Amanda
Hello Darling, Thank you for your welcome to the site. Life here is busy & I am going to be on TV again!! I will be presenting House Hunters International for a show based in Italy! I confess I fell off the fitness wagon over Christmas & New Year but back on it again now & loving being a size 12. The DVD makes it sooo much easier to follow the plan. Thanks for your encouraging message and taking the time to do so! I've now been on your program (bought the book a couple of weeks ago) for two full weeks and am feeling great! I'm 18 weeks pregnant, and think that the circuit training, core, and flexibility exercises for the second trimester are PERFECT for me to stay in shape! I also do my cardio for 30 minutes on the off days. I wish to continue this throughout my pregnancy, and then to really kick the post pregnancy routine you have into gear. Thank you, thank you, thank you for writing this book! You have educated me about certain aspects of exercise and diet during pregnancy that I have never known before! Thanks again!
I'm so excited to find you on Twitter and this site! I ordered up 3 new DVD's and can't wait to get them next Tuesday. Unfortunately for me, my Boot Camp DVD is in the city, and I have been stuck in the country since Christmas Eve because of all this bad weather. I cannot wait to get the new workouts! :-)

Is the DVD lose the Belly Flab different enough from your other DVDs. I love that you have such a variety of abs and other exercises. It is nice to have the range.
Tracey, question for you. There was something about Booty Barre classes and I was wondering about a DVD for the same. Are some of these exercises in the Sleak & Lean (Renew You) DVD.

I've made mention that I'd like to join the 'challenge' starting this month, posted on the homepage. What do we do now????
I have ordered the book. In the mean time I am doing the 6minute workouts like this.....I start with 2 min treadmill, start a 6 minute workout but after the first 2 minutes (1 set) do another 2 minute treadmill. I continue this til the total 6 minutes is done and end with 2minutes. I did this for 2 of your 6 minute workouts. In total I end up doing 30 minutes pretty non-stop. I alternate this with a more standard on of your workout videos. I decided if I do a lower body workout with the treadmill, then everyother day would be upper body. Next week I plan to do the upper body 6 minute workouts alternating with the treadmill. Alternating days will be leg workouts. This is my goal and now I just have to stop the cravings and control my portion size :)
Hi Tracey! Thank you for your response. I should have mentioned that I have the dreaded stretch marks! I don't know if I really have any options other than surgery but I am going to try and work out as much as possible specifically stomach exercises. I just don't know if I can do it without having some kind of cosmetic touch up. I can't wear a two piece and I wish I could. Thank you again for any more advice that you have!

I do have 2 questions, if you have time for a quick answer. 1) how many calories per day should I aim to consume and still lose weight while nursing? 2) how long does someone on your program typically take to lose about 30 lbs? i am not sure what my goals should be. i have always had no problem with exercise, but eating less has always been difficult (though I do eat very healthily, just large portions). I do have your book, which led me to this site. Thanks so much. ---Corry A.
